Influential music blog Brooklyn Vegan loves its Florida citrus lately.

Just yesterday, it featured fuzz-tastic shoegaze group Band in Heaven's new hallucinogenic, flashback-inducing video for its song "Sludgy Dreams." Today, the national hipster-insider website featured another Palm Beach County-based band Guy Harvey. The four-piece is entering into a two-week romp of the East Coast, beginning at notable Lower East Side venue and record store the Cake Shop this Friday, and ending in Gainesville.

Brooklyn Vegan previewed the show that will also include Gainesville noise pop act Averkiou. The site is streaming two Guy Harvey tracks,"Take Your Time (With Me)" and "Never Seen Snow," (which it describes as "ace"). They mention that the band had a "strong Flying Nuns influence." We have to say, Brooklyn Vegan is on the mark. Guy Harvey's frontman Adam Perry has personally confessed to us his admiration for the Kiwi-indie pop bands found on the New Zealand independent record label.

The rest of the tour dates are as follows:
Friday, Jan 27: NYC at Cake Shop
Saturday, Jan 28: Brooklyn at Death by Audio
Tuesday, Jan 31: Baltimore, MD, TBA
Wednesday, Feb 1: Chapel Hill, NC at Nightlight
Thursday, Feb 2: Atlanta, GA, TBA
Friday, Feb 3: Gainesville, FL at The Atlantic
