New Year's Eve 2011: Paul Anka at Hard Rock Live

​Paul Anka may be far from the teen idol he was in the '50s and '60s, but the legendary crooner still knows how to stir up a romantic mood. Old hits like "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" are now timeless classics, and Anka, even at age 70, still boasts a voice that does them justice.

For this gig at Hard Rock Live, he and his fans may have to stay up past their usual bedtimes. The show doesn't kick off until 10:30 p.m. and goes on until the start of 2012. Tickets cost $85 to $150, but if you want to keep the party going later for free, head into the casino and check out the main stage. There, cover band High Tolerance performs until 1 a.m.
