The 16th running of the Buzz Bake Sale is coming in December, and the lineup is starting to gel.

A muscular selection of ten initial acts has been confirmed for the annual rock fest put on by West Palm's 103.1 The Buzz. In spite of what some folks might think, most New Times writers do like the station.

Among the headliners so far are Staind, Seether, and Chevelle, but more bands will be announced soon. Awolnation has replaced Staind after the band pulled out because of illness.

Check out all of the freshly announced Buzz Bake Sale bands below.

I just wish Broward had some kind of station, besides 88.5 & the static sounds of the buzz, not that its a bad thing, luv both stations, but jeez what the hell happened to rock in broward? I agree w/ Eugene, Mighty would have been gr8 to see, but Im just happy to have some kind of rock festival once a yr to look forward to, TY BUZZ!

Is there a way to know when Chevelle is scheduled? Don't want to stay around all day for the others.

Have a better line up, so far it isn't worth buying a ticket & going..

They have to have bands that sell tickets. Indie rock surely isn't going to cut it, as evidenced by last year's line-up.

Seems to be pretty reflective of the station's move to hard rock as opposed to alternative music. Although Staind, Seether, Chevelle, Everlast and even Hinder are all up my alley, I know I won't like any of the bands on the second stage.

Part of the allure of this show was that I knew I'd like 40 percent of the bands, hate 40 but still find a couple bands that would unexpectedly win me over. That is no longer the case as all these bands will more than likely sound the same. It kind of makes me wish I would have went last year when the Mighty Mighty Bosstimes played. A band like that will never headline ever again the Bakesale ever again.

Hopefully one day Broward will get an alternative rock station and I won't have to be sad about a radio station I can barely pick up.

Right, we need a rock station. We have none
