This is a picture of some stoked Arctic Monkeys.
Good news is starting to crop up from the ashes of the now-canceled 2011 Langerado Music Festival. The Arctic Monkeys are still planning to perform in South Florida! And they're bringing Smith Westerns along too.

Given that the British alt-rockers had a gig in Orlando on October 7 and one in Tampa on October 9, it's not surprising that the young fellas decided to maintain a stop in South Florida in between.

The new show will take place Saturday, October 8 at Revolution. And according to local publicist Woody Graber, who works with many of the Live Nation venues in South Florida, there could be more Langerado artists popping up locally. Some of the independent venues in Miami have also expressed interest.

The Monkeys will be performing in support of the new album, Suck It and See, which came out in June. Peep the video for the single "The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala" below:

We'll be following up as more artists either sign up or bow out for good.

Arctic Monkeys. 8 p.m. Saturday, October 8 at Revolution, 200 W. Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Tickets cost $26.50, and go on sale Saturday, September 10 at 10 a.m. Click here. More info on Facebook.
