![]() |
There was a brief glimmer of hope when a September 30 show was offered as a salve for the original cancellation, but ultimately the lineup was crumbling too fast to keep the thing a viable offering for the discerning South Florida electronic-music crowd. The message sent out by Identity's media folks concluded with the line: "See you in 2012 barring no hurricanes." Come on, Irene!
From Identity:
The original Miami IDentity date on August 25 was forced to cancel due to Hurricane Irene and we made all attempts to reassemble the confirmed lineup from August 25 to September 30; however prior commitments from a large number of artists prohibit the September 30 date from moving forward. As a result, the September 30 date will not happen. See you in 2012 barring no hurricanes. Refunds are available at point of purchase.
