Dancegiving Music Festival Phase 1 Lineup: Diplo, MSTRKRFT, and More

Categories: Concerts
Thanksgiving, a time for family, stuffing our faces... and electronic music? The Dancegiving Music Festival seems to think so. Now in its second year, the Committee Entertainment-assembled electronic musical festival has returned to kick your ass out of that food coma.

The party-till-you-pass-out affair will once again take over the SW Third Avenue strip in downtown Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, November 26. Promising to be bigger and better than the last,  the festival will not only consume three clubs but is also going to extend onto various outdoor stages on a blocked-off street.

In comparison to last year's lineup -- which featured the overbooked Steve Aoki -- there is definitely a similarity in some of the names on the bill. But the addition of Diplo, MSTRKRFT, and Felix Cartal give this year's festival a definite face-lift. It's also nice to see this event scheduled on a Saturday night instead of an insane Black Friday booking.

The Phase 1 Lineup includes:
Main Stage
Wolfgang Gartner
David Solano
Cato K

Dubstep Stage
Juan Bass Head

America's Backyard
Brass Knuckles
Renegades of Funk
Team Jaguar

Revolution Live
Robbie Rivera
David Tort
Louis Dee
Pedro M
Tony Puccio
Christian Falero
Apollo V

Green Room
Felix Cartal
Ed Whitty
Deep Therapy
Chris E

Apparently this is only the first round of announcements regarding the lineup and venues; the next will be issued on October 1. So, as we patiently await the arrival of phase two, here's a quick list of artists we'd like to see onstage:

1. Boys Noize
2. Simian Mobile Disco
3. Modeselektor
4. Fake Blood
5. Trouble & Bass

Tickets for Dancegiving go on sale September 14 and range from $20 to $50. It is an 18-and-up event. More information on Dancegiving can be found on the website and Facebook page.
