Jimmy Pagano Memorial Tribute Performers Announced

Much planning and hard work has gone into Sunday's Jimmy Pagano Memorial Tribute & Benefit show that will take place at America's Backyard in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

In this week's print edition, we gathered together a number of personal messages people from the local music community directed at a fallen friend, who was killed in mid-April trying to break up a fight at Fishtales Bar & Grill. And many more will get to remember Pagano as part of the musical tribute this weekend.

On the bill for Sunday is:
the Untamed Band (Pagano's outfit)
Blues Brothers Soul Band
David Shelley & Bluestone
Special guest JP Soars

Additionally, proceeds from a raffle and silent auction featuring hundreds of donated gift certificates, concert tickets, and memorabilia from more than 40 local businesses will benefit the Jimmy Pagano Music Scholarship Fund. The fund will aid students and the music program at the Dan Marino Foundation Florida Vocational Campus.
