Back in October, we had some fun
with the above image of Harrison Daum Snow, the yet-to-be-born baby son of Lake Worth's Jeff and Susan Snow. Aside from the appeal of the image itself, it was exciting that he was coming along as part of a trio of babies
associated with the local alt-country band Invisible Music
. The Today Show
's Moms blog even gave little Harrison a shoutout
Harrison was born on November 1, 2010, and tipped the scales at eight pounds, nine ounces. Now, the adorable young man (pictured below) and his family are in need of our support. Soon after birth, he had trouble breathing.
Harrison then spent a few hours in the hospital's NICU and was eventually moved to Memorial Regional Hospital
in Hollywood. There, he was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia, which means there is an abnormal hole in his diaphragm muscle. He has undergone several surgeries since then to ensure that his lungs develop properly, but he has not been able to go home yet.

Since Harrison's birth, Susan has documented their family's journey via this online journal
. Although there are bright spots in Thursday's entry ("My new nickname for Harrison is slobber boy:) He is teething, and drooling like CRAZY!"), she definitely makes it clear that there are still plenty of challenges ahead. Read lots more and see photographs of Harrison's progress here
