Surfer Blood Announces Fall Tour, Plots Return to Grand Central

​The main thing to be excited about here is that West Palm Beach's Surfer Blood is back on the road with the Drums, another band with Florida roots and a surf-friendly sound. This latest string of U.S. dates runs between September 10 and October 22 and includes a stop at Miami's Grand Central on September 18. Yes, that one.

If we can learn anything from recently retired/unretired actress Amanda Bynes -- and there is plenty -- it's that sometimes announcing things publicly and in a hurry might not match the conclusions formed privately later on. So, there's more over at Crossfade about the disagreement that stirred up the last time Surfer Blood played the Miami club (including the assertion, "This has the potential to be the most awkward concert ever"). Ever? Nah. Given that the concert itself showed Surfer Blood playing out of their minds, it's hard to imagine that going back and ripping up the stage again will feel anything less than redeeming.
