Kanye West Joins Twitter, Tops 20,000 Followers in Two Hours

​By the time Kanye West's announcement that he has indeed joined Twitter made it to our Google Reader, more than 10,000 followers were on board -- that number doubled quickly once Perez Hilton got wind of it and just topped 25K, thanks to Entertainment Weekly. By the end of the day, followers of @kanyewest could be approaching Lil Wayne (@liltunechi) numbers. Given the erratic rapper's Facebook performance yesterday, this is not a surprising development. We're just glad he's not tweeting in ALL CAPS.
