Built to Spill at Culture Room October 15, Also There is a God

​There is good news, and there's also news that makes a person take the deepest breath humanly possible: Built to Spill -- AKA the only band that makes a 25-minute Neil Young cover considered "indie rock" -- is coming to Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale on October 15. No point in hiding that Perfect From Now On is, in this writer's opinion, the most accurate album title ever.

Since Doug Martsch and the rest of his band hail from Idaho, they know even better than Florida folks what it feels like to get the short end of the touring stick, which makes this visit all the more special. Bravo, beardos! Tickets go on sale June 25.
