70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise Adds Portuguese Cachet With Moonspell

Hey guys, do you think José Saramago's later books hold a candle to Blindness?
There's no better way to battle Friday morning's demons than with some searing Portuguese prog-metal courtesy of Moonspell, the freshest addition to the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise. If any of the hairs on the back of your neck aren't awake after a run-through of "First Light," it's time to stop sleeping in a coffin. Per our announcement last week, Amon Amarth, Epica, Finntroll, Raven, Saxon, Sodom, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Trouble, Uli Jon Roth, and Witchburner will also embark from Miami January 24, 2011, and return four dark days later.

Apparently, the organizers are picking up all of the bands and holding them hostage on the cruise ship between now and its launch next year:
On our long trip to complete our line up we decided to visit Portugal, birthplace of some of the greatest seafarers in history. When we sailed into the port of Lisbon, we were greeted by local heroes MOONSPELL.

12 out of 40 and counting. Soon we will set sail again to our next destination. Where are we off to?
Hopefully they're off to somewhere else in Europe next, because gas is expensive.
