• I almost forgot to mention. His concert was sold out and there were fans standing outside the pavilion looking in to hear the music. And man, Peter is as sexy as ever!!!!

• I just got back from Peter and the Herman Hermits concert at the Seminole Casino. They were GREAT! We had such a good time. His voice is as good as ever and he is such a entertaining showman. He is not full of himself like so many of the other singers out there today. It was an unexpected pleasure to hear his many jokes and hear them sing some of the other favorites of the 60s. But of course, to hear him sing the Herman Hermits hits was the best part of all!! I have never had the pleasure of attending one of his concerts, but you can bet I will be at the next one!!!

• I had a great Tiger Beat magazine with a large picture of Peter and I wish I still had it today. There was a picture of his Mum ironing his shirts. That's about all I can remember. I loved this band and I hated the Beatles! My husband and I will be there tonight to finally see them in person and I can't wait!

• Hey, I remember Peter Noone and I loved him as a teenager. I live in Coconut Creek and I went to the Seminole Casino's crummy website and they don't even MENTION him. I went to SOS and they don't say much either. Do I need an advance ticket? Where is he playing--in that lounge of their's? Most importantly, what time? Does anybody know?

• The person who wrote this article should have done some better research. The Peter Noone Fan Club is very active and has members of all ages throughout the world. Yes, you can become a Lifetime Member for $100, but that also includes two free concert tickets, club events, priority seating and surprises throughout the year. Peter Noone Fans, Noonatics, do not only have a great time supporting Peter, but we are actively involved in supporting several charities. We just sent a check for $1802 to the Dream Foundation, our annual Calendar sales benefits two charities, and Peter's fan helped raise thousands to buy Mike Smith, of the Dave Clark 5, a wheelchair and van. I invite all of you to attend the concert as it will be a night of fun for people of all ages, and you will also have an opportunity to help the children's charity. You see that is who we are and what we are about. We are Noonatics who love supporting a great artist and serving our communities.

• How can you possibly call someone a "panglossian twit" right before commenting on that person's negativity. Panglossian: adj. Blindly or naively optimistic. That spells over educated all day. It's also funny you measure bravery by the ability to type a name on a post on the internet. I've always thought that some of the bravest people on the planet were firefighters, soldiers, doctors, and people trolling message boards for mentions of their name so they can comment on them and attach their name. Bravo good sir, I'm sure you'll be knighted any day now.

• We know lots of people who plan to be at this concert. Herman's Hermits are certainly going strong and have a very large fan base. Journalist needs to do a bit more research perhaps? What could possibly be 'sad' about being able and wanted and still drawing crowds doing what you love? I think it is the opposite of sad. It's joyous! Sing LOUD, Peter!

• Isn't it interesting that the nasties are always "anonymous"? Proof that they don't have courage!!

• I caught the tail end of an ad on the local Palm Beach NBC station yesterday saying Herman's Hermits was going to be playing down here in South Florida but the play date and location were already gone by that point. So I went googling for the information and hit here. I really wasn't interested in what the blog had to say since I already have my own opinion of the band and their body of work, but the blogger had the play date info. My wife and I plan to be there and hope Peter sings "No Milk Today."

• I am emailing from somewhere in the green & pleasant land of England. I tripped over this page accidentally but now feel a comment coming on! I worked closely with Peter Noone on a major charity project in 2007, and he is out there making a positive difference in a world where apathy threatens the good of all. Please support a working artist who is doing the right things for all the right reasons. And I suggest that, if you don't know the music of Herman's Hermits, that you check it out because it will bring s bit of joy into all your lives.

• Seriously? How cute that he'd actually make a comment on a story about himself. I'm not sure how he saw any of the article as negative or nasty. It's true that the younger generation has no idea who HH is (was). At least he has time to comment multiple times on a blog post. God knows he shouldn't be working on his craft and thanking his lucky stars for ANY kind of promotion.
