Thursday: XXXChange at PS14

There hasn't been much word going around about this, but Spank Rock DJ XXXChange will be spinning tomorrow at PS14 for the bar's Happy House party. Also on the bill are resident DJs Jonathan Brody, Carlos Llanos, C. Mora and Benton.

If you either love or hate the current wave of hipster-hop, XXXChange -- real name Alex Epton -- holds much of the blame. While MC Spank Rock usually enjoys the spotlight in the group, their one-of-kind sound is thanks in large part to XXXChange. Epton has produced tracks for everyone from Santogold to Kid Sister. He is also a graduate of The Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University in Baltimore, one of the country's most prestigious music schools.
