Shelborne Announces WMC Opening Pool Party With David Guetta ... For $10!

The scaling back of this past Art Basel Miami Beach was noticeable, with fewer freebies and lower-key events. So it's safe to assume that the final big event of the "season," Winter Music Conference, is going to look a little different overall this year, too. It's doubtful that megawatt DJs will be able to still command their usual booking fees, or that regular clubbers (that is, not industry people who get onto guest lists for everything) will want to shell out the huge attendant cover charges.

 

So one of the venues to reexamine their m.o., and, thankfully, make their parties more "for the people," is the Shelborne. As we announced earlier this month, the resort plans to continue attracting marquee names for its parties -- it's just making it easy for everyone to get into those parties.

Thus, the folks there have announced a couple of incredible party deals for fans of big-room house. Along with DJ magazine, the Shelborne's throwing an opening pool party on Wednesday, March 25, from noon to 10:30 pm. And among the names on the lineup: Anderson Noise, Gui Boratto, James Zabiela, Steve Lawler, Dubfire, and David Guetta ... for $10!
