Whether you're looking to drink some interesting beer, learn to cook, or just go crazy on one of the biggest drinking holidays in the country, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties this week.
Sake de Mayo
For an Asian take on the Western Hemisphere's favorite day, head to Kapow! Noodle Bar's Sake de Mayo on Monday. All day long, it's offering $3 Sapporo sake bombs, $5 hot sake carafes, and $5 Partida margaritas.
Cinco de Mayo for Cystic Fibrosis
Exposed Public Relation's Alysia Naples is hosting a Cinco de Mayo fiesta at McSorley's Irish Pub to raise funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Wristbands are $20, which includes a raffle ticket, live music (not Mexican or Irish), and a complimentary cocktail. All proceeds are directly benefitting the foundation.
Cinco De Mayo Fiesta
It's time to party on Monday starting at noon. Taco Beach Shack in Hollywood is hosting one serious cinco fiesta. It includes three mini tacos for $5, $3 Modelo Drafts, and $15 Domestic Beer Buckets. Family friendly entertainment features a taco eating contest (winner gets a free night at The Catalina Hotel), mariachi band, free pony rides, face painting, and more.
