Most of the world is obsessed with TV and the idea of celebrity. Think of how popular the Kardashians have become. Or the Real Housewives.

Just making an appearance on the small screen is pretty much guaranteed to garner your 15 minutes of fame.
So, it's no surprise that restaurants looking to drum up business would opt to get on the tube -- unfortunately, some cameos are less appealing than others. Would you want to eat at a place on Kitchen Nightmares? We doubt it.
Airing tonight at 10 on Nat Geo Wild, Fish Tank Kings will spotlight the handiwork on the beachfront pub's new aquarium.
To celebrate the broadcast, the restaurant is offering 25 percent off all tabs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Owner Simon Kearney has been friends with Mat Roy, owner of Fish Tank Kings, for quite some time. As soon as Roy found out Kearney was interested in installing an aquarium, he took all of his ideas and ran with them.
"McSorley's is a beach bar, and we've been here on Fort Lauderdale Beach for over a decade," says Kearney. "When we had the opportunity to work with our friends from Fish Tank Kings and bring a glimpse of the ocean into the bar, it was a no-brainer. We love everything about the beach lifestyle, and our new tank looks great in the space."
While the segment is airing in a one-hour time slot, the process of building the tank took a lot of time and effort.
"There was a lot of back and forth in the beginning trying to get exactly what I was looking for from size, color, coral, fish, design, built, etc.," says Kearney. "But once everything was confirmed, I went ahead and let Living Color, the design team, take over. The process took about a month's time before everything was completed."
Now that the 300-gallon tank is completed, Kearney has Living Color taking care of the weekly maintenance.
Stop by McSorley's to check it out or tune into Nat Geo Wild tonight at 10.
