Starting at 7:30pm on Friday May 9th, 99 different craft beers and big name brews will be available for sampling from the portfolios of Brown Distributing, Gold Coast Beverage Distributors and Republic National Distributing Company. Currently touted brands include Abita, Lagunitas, Butte Creek, SweetWater, Miami Brewing Company, and Unibroue.
Advance tickets are $30 for general admission and $50 for an hour and a half early VIP treatment with special mug, and some exclusive beers. They can be purchased at OldSchoolBeerFest.com; DelrayArts.com or by calling 561-243-7922, x1.
Doug Fairall Due South turns two!
Then, on May 10th, Boynton Beach's Due South Brewing Company will be celebrating its second year in operation, with a brewery bash.
Just remember that this is a mostly cash only affair, and some of the brewery's normal goings-ons will not be happening. That means no growler fills, no flights or samples, and no tours. However, there will be plenty of flavorful beer.
If it's anything like last year (and we have a feeling it will be), expect to enjoy yourself. Oh, and try to carpool, or expect to park far away and walk -- parking will be insane.
