Pineapple Express

Delicious Salads

While we're blessed with beach weather year-round, during summer there's little to do aside from roast in the sun. It's time to work on that beach body. To help get you through at lighter dietary regiment, Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School is hosting a delicious salad course on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. For $65 per person, guests will learn to throw together some gourmet salads and dressings made from scratch. Visit

Hot and Soul One Year Anniversary

The first birthday is always the biggest. On Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Hot and Soul is hosting its one year anniversary party. To celebrate the restaurant is offering a mix of its old standards with some favorite specials. After 9:30 all drinks are going for happy hour prices. Visit

Cheese and Beer Class

Feeling Saucy

Sure, you can grill a steak like a pro. And yeah, you can pan-sear fish with the best of them. But the real secret to impressing dinner guests is the sauce -- and no, we don't mean getting them drunk. On Wednesday at 6 p.m., the staff at Publix Aprons Cooking School Plantation are going over foolproof recipes for basic sauces. The hands-on class is $40. Visit

Craft Bazaar

If you like eating well, drinking cocktails, and perusing crafts, this is the event for you. On Thursday starting at 9 p.m., DaDa Restaurant & Lounge is opening its doors for a craft bazaar. Hosted by Taylor Adair Boutique and Couture Accessories by J&K, the monthly event offers some of the best homemade crafts to be found within the confines of Palm Beach County. Visit

Food Truck invasion Wellington

For the most part, invasions tend to have rather negative connotations. Have you ever heard of anyone being excited about a home invasion? Unlikely. On the other hand, we highly doubt anyone would be upset about being invaded by boatloads -- or truckloads -- of delicious food. Well, it's time to prepare your appetites, because the Food Truck Invasion is about to take over Wellington. On Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., the bimonthly event will feature numerous food trucks at the Wellington Amphitheatre. Featured trucks include Bite Gastrotruck, Grill Master Café, Palate Party, and Sweet Sensations. The roundup is free to attend, and food will be available for purchase from individual trucks. Visit
