3-Day Baking 101 Series
Just because you know how to cook, it doesn't mean you know how to bake. Learn how to make your own baked goods starting on Monday at Publix Aprons Cooking School in Plantation. Starting at 6 p.m. for three consecutive weeks, the staff will be going over the ins and outs of a number of homemade recipes. The cost to attend is $150. Visit publix.com/aprons.
When it comes to showing off in the kitchen, it all comes down to the sauce. On Monday at 7:30 p.m., Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School is hosting a basic sauce class. For $70 per person, guests will learn how to make the five basic "mother" sauces and complex variations of such. Visit chefjeanpierre.com.
