Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day is Tomorrow
A $5 correspondence course in ice cream making. On their first anniversary, the two were so elated that the little shop was still in business, they decided to give away free ice cream cones.
Each year, Ben & Jerry's honors this sweet tradition with its annual Free Cone Day, billed as a celebration of peace, love, and ice cream.
Tomorrow, April 8, all 742 Ben & Jerry's scoop shops, located in 26 countries, will throw open their doors to give away a free ice cream cone to anyone who would like one. The offer is good on a free single scoop cone of your choice -- just waltz into the nearest scoop shop near you between noon - 8 p.m. and ask for a free cone -- and don't forget to say, "thank you". Scoop shops are located at Sawgrass Mills,Seminole Paradise at the Hard Rock; and at 1155 E. Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach.
Although there are no more "Schweddy Balls" to be had, the company is rocking some new "core" flavors to try -- each with it's own unique flavor at the center. Flavors include That's My Jam (chocolate and raspberry ice creams with fudge chips and a raspberry core); Salted Caramel; Peanut Butter Fudge; and Hazed and Confused (chocolate and hazelnut ice creams with fudge chips and a hazelnut fudge core.
