Around and around we go again. Today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret, there's still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days.
JYoung Films Learn How to Cook With Executive Chef Chris Miracolo of S3
Whether you're looking to get deals on food and coffee, celebrate the Irish holiday, or indulge in some high brow art and wine, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties this week.
Get Lucky on Las Olas
You know what they say about the "luck of the Irish." You chance to get lucky is here. From 5 p.m. to midnight, on Monday, American Social is hosting an Irish St. Paddy's Day Soiree patrons with live music, including bagpipers, Jeff D and sounds by DJ Supersede. The spot is offering drink specials, such as $2 Guinness, Harp, and Smithwicks and "leprechaun libations" for $7 to $9, like the Irish margarita with whiskey.
Brave the Shave
Most of the world will be getting shwasted for St. Paddy's Day. That's fun and all, but that's not doing anyone any good (especially your liver). On Monday Oceans 234 is hosting a holiday-themed Brave the Shave with St. Baldrick's Foundation. From 4 to 10 p.m., volunteers, including executive chef Victor Franco, will be going under the razor to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer. Green beer and traditional Irish fare will be on the menu, and happy hour with half-off house wines, call liquors, and $1 off domestic beers.
