When it comes to complete relaxation, brunch is the ideal choice.

How often do you get to kick back with a drink during the day while sitting in the sunshine for hours, picking at foods that will most like you send you straight back to bed?

If you're doing that on a Monday, we'd like to know your secret. Just sayin'.

Starting later this month, one of Fort Lauderdale's best chefs is starting up a pop-up brunch series for the next three months.

That's right, 3030 Ocean's Paula DaSilva is starting a Sunday Brunch Favorites series with a changing menu comprised of fresh seasonal ingredients.

Starting on Sunday, March 16 from 12:30 to 3 p.m., DaSilva is celebrating the season with the Spring Awakening Brunch, which will take place once-a-month until May.

Each brunch will be held on the patio behind 3030 overlooking the ocean (weather dependent) with live music, changing themes, and a varying selection of brunch favorites comprised of local, seasonal fare.

"What better way to wind down the weekend than Sunday Brunch?" says DaSilva. "It's going to be laid back and fun with amazing food, cocktails and live music."

For $60 per person, including endless Bloody Marys, guests will be treated to new takes on classic breakfast/lunch hybrid items, such as homemade breads and pastries (like cinnamon buns, croissants, cranberry orange scones), seafood "charcuterie" boards (with house cured salmon, Peekytoe crab salad, lobster sausage), citrus salad with goat cheese and honey, Benton's ham "benedict" on grilled ciabatta with cheese sauce, crispy duck and waffle with maple raisin sauce, grilled smoked bacon and grits, and biscuits and sausage gravy.

The series continues with different menus and themes on April 13 and May 18.
