On Christmas Day, we guarantee you won't be able to find a single more entertaining option than dinner and a show at Fort Lauderdale's Mai-Kai. 1. The Farmer's Table
The Farmer's Table Facebook Vegetable lasagna from the Farmer's Table in Boca Raton.
This new Boca Raton establishment owned by hotelier Mitchell Robbins and chef Joey Giannuzzi is not only celebrating its conscious, affordable fare daily -- but now on Christmas Day, as well. What you'll get: only the freshest ingredients and whole foods -- much of which is sourced from local farmers. What you won't get: butter, cream, deep frying, or use of a microwave for any dish. The restaurant will be serving a prix-fixe meal from 3 to 8 p.m. beginning with an amuse bouche to toast the evening. Next up: soup or salad; choice of prime rib, turkey, or a vegetarian dish; and two options for dessert. The cost is $45 per person. Reservations are strongly recommended.
