The American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure
If you are going to ride until a cure is found for diabetes, you're going to need to fuel up first and Chima Brazilian Steakhouse has got just what you need. The American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure is entering its fourth year in South Florida and this year's event will kick off in typical South Florida fashion with a free bash Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Heat Game watch party at Swank Southern Kitchen
Love basketball but not into the typical sports bar scene? Well, every time the Heat play, there's s full one watch party taking place at Swank Southern Kitchen in Davie. Anytime Chris "Birdman" Anderson dunks or does his signature "birdflap" - the entire restaurant gets a "Free-Bird" shot, on the house. Depending on the night of the game, daily specials are also in effect. On Tuesdays, get two-for-one wells. If you like your b-ball with a side of southern charm and cocktails in mason jars, you've found your new home.

"Bark For Beer" Tri-County Humane Society Fundraiser
Tri-County Humane Society hosts "Yappy Hour" World of Beer-Clematis Tuesday.
Local pet-lovers are invited to bring their furry friends and enjoy a the warm glow of altruistic satisfaction alongside the warm glow of beer. $1 of all 'dog related' beer purchases will go directly to Tri-County Humane Society to benefit the shelter's adoption and clinical services, as well as the daily care of the shelter pets. Don't currently have a furry friend? Tri-County volunteers and shelter dogs will be on-site to meet WOB customers and educate interested patrons on how to adopt and support the shelter.

Paula DaSilva Teaming Up With Jamie DeRosa for Tongue & Cheek Kitchen Collab Dinner
As the third and last in the Kitchen Collaboration dinner series hosted at Tongue & Cheek in Miami, Paula DaSilva of 3030 Ocean is heading down to team up with Jamie DeRosa. So far, Palm Beach County chefs Lindsay Autry of Sundy House and Clay Conley chef/ partner of Buccan have made the trek down to the 305 for the Kitchen Collaboration events. The dinner starts at 7 p.m. Reservations are required.

Sidedoor Supper Club's Special Edition Thanksgiving Dinner BYOB
The Sidedoor Supper Club, an underground dinner society hosted by Chef Jorge and Vanessa Montes of Roho Kitchen, is throwing a Thanksgiving themed dinner on Thursday starting at 7:30 p.m. For $65 per person, guests will be treated to five-courses all of which include T-Day elements, a welcome cranberry bourbon spritzer, and passed hors d'ourvres. Diners are encouraged to bring wine and share; there is no corkage fee. To keep it intimate, the event is limited to twelve people with a waiting list after the seats have been filled. Call for reservations as soon as possible. The dinner lasts approximately two and a half hours. Gratuity is not included.

Riverwalk Get Downtown
Riverwalk Get Downtown takes over the scenic Fort Lauderdale area for three hours Thursday evening. A ticket includes two cocktails and tastes from the area's trendy eateries such as American Social, Chima, Royal Pig, SAIA Sushi, and Brooklyn Italian Ice. Get Downtown, a 15-year running party in Fort Lauderdale, takes place twice a year on the premises of YOLO's courtyard. This block party is known to draw ample crowds from the well-heeled to young pros looking to live it up, ya know, as the motto goes; You only live once. The bash gets underway 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday
