From expensive celebrity-chef-driven restaurants to tiny pizza joints and everything in between, there tends to be no dearth of options; however, it's not often that you'll find an inexpensive casual spot with a big-time chef's name.
D'Angelo Pizza, Wine Bar, and Tapas throws that notion upside down. Celebrity chef and local favorite Angelo Elia is opening his newest casual outpost in Delray Beach later this week.

Starting on Thursday, for lunch and dinner, D'Angelo will be serving casual Tuscan fare with more than 90 wines and an extensive cocktail list.
Chef de Cuisine Peter Masiello will oversee the kitchen. A newcomer to the D'Angelo empire, he most recently worked at Frank and Dino's in Deerfield Beach and Damiano Restaurant in Boca Raton. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, he has also spent time as head of Bova Restaurant Group's culinary operations and at New York Times-rated San Domenico in Manhattan.
"Coming from an Italian culinary background, it is an honor to work with an esteemed chef like Elia," said Masiello. "I'm excited to add my touch to the already amazing menu at D'Angelo Pizza ▪ Wine Bar ▪ Tapas, and I can't wait to showcase the food in the Delray community."
