Martorano's Italian-American Kitchen at the Paris Las Vegas: DJ Booth Included
Laine Doss Martorano's: Philly goes to Paris via Vegas by way of Fort Lauderdale.
Steve Martorano is expanding his restaurant empire in Las Vegas. The celebrity cook already has one successful restaurant in Sin City at the Rio, but this is the entrepreneur's first foray directly on the strip.
When we first learned of the new Martorano's at the Paris Hotel, there was little information except for the fact that it would be serving Martorano's signature meatball salad (duh) and that there would be a DJ booth (double duh).
Now we have more information -- including a rendering of the space.

Martorano's Paris rendering.
Martorano's Paris features a large patio, big-screen televisions that will show scenes from classic movies like Goodfellas and The Godfather, and an oversized island bar. The 255-seat restaurant will be decorated dramatically in black and white, with black drapery and multiple dining areas -- because sometimes Martorano's regulars, like Mario Lopez and Shaq, might want to have an intimate dinner in a private nook.
We can also make out a pizza oven, and -- oh yes... a DJ booth!
Martorano's is expected to open in early 2014, making this the fourth restaurant owned by the burly cook -- but not the last. Martorano himself told sister food blog Short Order that he was carefully considering a space in South Beach, and a spokesperson for the man himself said he was shopping for an Atlantic City location. Martorano, of course, owns two restaurants in South Florida, Cafe Martorano and Martorano's Italian-American Kitchen.
