Five Best Food & Drink Events in South Florida This Weekend: Fuzzy Animals, Health-Food, and More
Hate to rain on your parade, but it looks like it's going to be a fairly rainy weekend. Let's just hope the weather (wo)man is getting it wrong again. Even so, this is South Florida; it'll probably pass in five minutes and we'll be off to another beautiful albeit hot and humid day. Whether you're looking to drink some beer with some friendly animals, eat health-food to your heart's content, or check out some food trucks and classic cars, there is something to occupy your time and mouth in Broward and Palm Beach counties this weekend.

5. South African Wines & Cheese Tasting
Everyone has had American wines and cheeses. Even if you're not a francophile, you've probably at least tried French. And we've all had a bottle of Chianti and some Italian mozzarella. South African wines and cheeses, though: probably not. On Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Whole Foods Market Fort Lauderdale is hosting a South African cheese and wine tasting event including charcuterie. The cost to attend is $15 per person. Registration is required.
Whole Foods Market is located at 2000 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-565-5655, or visit wholefoodsmarket.com.
