Creepy Christian Puppeteer Planned to Abduct, Eat Children
It has all the makings of a really bad horror movie: mobile homes, a creepy puppet, a freakish man-child/ventriloquist, a Christian television show for kids, and a plot to cook and eat little children.
Too freakishly unbelievable, you'd say as you read the description and took this clunker out of your Netflix queue.
Only problem? It's all true. And it all happened in Florida.
What's even more sinister are documents and pictures that were seized by Homeland Security investigators at Brown's home -- CDs, DVDs, thumb drives, micro disks and VHS tapes that contained images of naked, bound, and dead children, as well as transcripts from chat lines that show Brown was planning to kidnap children for the purpose of eating them.
WTSP also reports that Federal documents show Brown was "planning to kidnap children -- specifically toddlers -- torture them, rape them, murder them, then cook their body parts on a stove."
Brown pleaded guilty to eight counts of child pornography. On Monday, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Brown was best known for his appearances on the Christian Television Network kid's show, Joy Junction, where he and his equally creepy puppet, Marty, would warn children of the evils lurking in the world.
Most recently (and alarmingly), Brown ran a kiddie party business called Puppets Plus. The website is down and according to Yelp, it's closed -- but some pictures remain, posted by "Ron B".
Ron B. via Yelp "Teddy bear Picnic", used to promote puppet show preformed by "Ron B.".
Take a look at this video where Brown and his puppet Marty talk about looking at dirty pictures and be creeped out for the rest of the day:
