Evening Under the Moon
People usually go crazy on the full moon, but that's kind of hard to do on Monday. For a more relaxed and luxurious lunar celebration, the Pelican Grand Beach Resort is hosting an Evening Under the Moon from 5 to 10 p.m. For $75 per person, the evening includes a prix fixe menu served on the veranda overlooking the Atlantic and, of course, the bright full moon.
The Pelican Grand Beach Resort is located at 2000 North Ocean Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-556-7667, or visit pelicanbeach.com.
Risque Rose Tasting
When it comes to rose wines, most people think of sickeningly sweet white zinfandel. Monday at 7:30, the Blind Monk is trying to help local wine enthusiasts see the world through rose colored glasses. The spot is hosting a rose tasting with tapas inspired the the blush-colored wines motherland Provence. The cost to attend is $45. RSVP is required.
The Blind Monk is located at 410 Evernia St. in West Palm Beach. Call 561-833-3605, visit theblindmonk.com, or RSVP via email through firstname.lastname@example.org.
