After news broke of the deposition (and the deposition became widely available and read on the internet), Deen was scheduled to appear on the Today show to speak with Matt Lauer on exactly what happened. On Friday morning, Lauer reported that Deen was a no-show, letting viewers know that he wasn't too pleased with having to fill empty airtime at the last minute.

Then, Deen, issued a video apology..then pulled the apology and reissued another one. Then, Food Network decided to not renew her contract. Now, Eater is reporting that Smithfield Ham has terminated her contract. In a possible attempt to recover from a career death spiral, Deen has rescheduled her Today appearance for Wednesday, June 26 -- while other allegations of racism are surfacing.

We could go on and on...or you can watch this amazing Taiwanese Animation that explains the whole sordid affair...and ends with Deen being roasted on a spit over a hot fire.

Now that you're completely entertained...bore yourself to tears with the 146-page deposition transcript.
