Official Check Presentation
It's not everyday that a grocery store gives out a $75,000 check. Especially, a really big check. On Monday at 10 am, Whole Foods Market in Boca Raton is rolling out the dough to Boca Raton-based Cosi Duci Bakery. The store is giving the small bakery a low-interest loan to help fund expansion. Whole Foods is located at 1400 Glades Road in Boca Raton. Call 561-447-0000, or visit wholefoodsmarket.com.

Homestyle Gourmet
Everyone loves eating gourmet food, but eating out is not always in the budget. Learn how to cook for yourself at Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School. On Monday at 7:30 p.m., the school is holding a Homestyle Gourmet class that will teach students how to prepare a delicious three-course meal. The course is $68 per person. Chef Jean Pierre's Cooking School is located at 1436 Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-563-2700, or visit chefjeanpierre.com.

What an amazing event! I was in Brazil at the time and unable to attend... will definitely put on my calendar for next year. As food manufacturers, my husband and I do our best to attend all food related shows, expos and events in South Florida (and there are plenty of them).

Rosana Santos Calambichis, President
