On Monday at 10 am, Whole Foods Market in Boca Raton is rolling out the dough to Boca Raton-based Cosi Duci Bakery. The store is giving the small bakery a low-interest loan to help fund expansion. Everyone loves eating gourmet food, but eating out is not always in the budget. Learn how to cook for yourself at Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School. On Monday at 7:30 p.m., the school is holding a Homestyle Gourmet class that will teach students how to prepare a delicious three-course meal. The course is $68 per person. Trinidadian Food and Wine Tasting
Every country has its specialties in terms of cuisine. And to most foodies, Trinidad is known for its roti -- those tasty West Indian wrap-like sandwiches -- but it does so much more. Try it all at the Trinidadian Food and Wine Tasting at Hot Peppers Restaurant. Organized by the restaurant in partnership with Bootleggers Beverage Distribution, the tasting will feature a wide array of traditional Trinidadian dishes paired with a selection of wines. Kapow's Chef Pairing Series: Sake
You've done beer and food pairings, and wine pairings are old news. Now it's time to try your hand at some sake paired with food. Kapow is about to make that happen. On Tuesday, its hosting a five-course sake pairing dinner. Starting at 6 p.m., the $35 dinner will walk participants through the tasty Asian pairing creations.
