First Look: Amatsu Sushi & Sake at the Westin Beach Resort, Fort Lauderale
The $16 Truffle Ahi Tartar
There's been a recent surge in interest in restaurants on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Whether it's lack of space elsewhere, a recovering economy, or restaurateurs realizing that the area could use more options, something is happening.
If you're looking to get away from the average takeout theme, the Westin Beach Resort's Amatsu Sushi & Sake offers healthy Japanese cuisine right across the street from the beach.
Located on the second floor or mezzanine level of the hotel, Amatsu, which translate to "heavenly" in Japanese offers indoor and poolside tables. It can be accessed through the hotel lobby or the elevated walkway. The small space seats up to 32 guests.
