Robert Irvine Looking for Chefs For New Food Network Show
Irvine is searching for sous chefs, budding restaurateurs, and executive chefs that are ready to take it to the next level for his new yet-to-be-titled show (rumor has it that the working title is Restaurant Express).
The competition show will pit chefs against each other in a series of challenges to test their skill, speed, and determination. According to the RR Casting website, this is "your chance to show off your culinary talent to foodies from around the world and jet setting celebrities."
That pretty much can mean anything, but with Food Network behind the show, we're expecting chefs might be cooking for some big celebrity chef names.
The show, from the producers of the Great Food Truck Race, is giving the chef who makes it all the way the ultimate foodie prize -- a "hot new restaurant showcased in a premiere dining destination." Since the show is looking for South Florida chefs, we're hoping this "hot new restaurant" is right here in our home town.
In any case, these chef competition shows have turned out some "stars" like Top Chef alumni Lindsay Autry, who is now executive chef at Sundy House.
