Five Food-Related Activities in South Florida This Weekend: Champagne, Brew at the Zoo, Food Festivals, and More

South Florida foodies need to get ready this week: no matter your location or culinary preferences, there are food-related events galore. The five best, after the jump.
5. Veuve Cliquot Promotion
There's something about bubbles that set the mood for a party. To celebrate umm, well, life, PB Catch and Pistache are starting up some weekly Veuve Cliquot promotions. To coincide with its weekend supper club, starting tonight, every Friday the restaurant is offering Veuve for just 8 bucks a glass--and $75 for a bottle--starting after 9:30 pm. PB Catch is offering the $8 a glass deal from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, on Saturdays, and then $75 bottles to go along with its Saturday Nights in the Lounge starting at 9:30pm.
4. Deerfield Beach Wine and Food Festival Grand Tasting
Have you ever gone out to eat with someone who won't share? Well, you won't have to worry about that here. On Saturday night at 6 pm, at Quiet Waters Park, the Deerfield Beach Wine and Food Festival is holding its Grand Tasting. Sample all you like, from chefs around the tri-county area for just 85 bucks. No need to worry about that stingy friend sharing.
