|ALDI is holding a job fair.|
The chain, which has markets in Australia, throughout Europe, and in the United States, is expanding into Delray Beach, Lauderdale Lakes, Miami, Deerfield Beach, Coral Springs, Tamarac, Pembroke Pines, and Cutler Bay.
Aldi has about 1,200 stores in 32 states in its U.S. division alone.
The chain is looking to hire employees for these stores at a job fair being held at the BB&T Center in Sunrise today, April 16. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can meet with company representatives, who are looking for cashiers ($10.40 per hour), shift managers ($14.50 per hour), and manager trainees ($20 per hour). Part-time staff working at least 20 hours per week receive full health coverage, dental insurance, and a 401k.
Aldi is seeking candidates 18 or older who have a high school diploma or GED and are available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Management trainees should have management experience. To save time, you can print out a job application here and fill it out in advance.
Aldi markets feature aisles filled with private-label products that are generally less expensive than brand-name merchandise.
Representatives from Winn-Dixie, Gold Coast Beverage, Panda Express, IHOP, Harbor Beach Marriott, Racks Restaurants, and other companies will be seeking applicants for positions at their companies as well.
