Don't just live más. Celebrate Live Más Monday at Taco Bell Feb. 4 and get a free churro -- a Spanish "doughnut" sometimes flavored with cinnamon and sugar -- with any purchase.
We're pretty sure you've already seen Taco Bell's Super Bowl "Viva Young" video commercial, which the fast food restaurant chain released on Facebook and YouTube early last week. The video plays to the Spanish version of fun's "We Are Young," and features a few 80-something-year-olds having an epic night out on the town ending with a stop at Taco Bell for its famous "fourth meal."
But, just in case you haven't, here it is again -- as well as the Spanish "Grande Papi" post-game commercial with details on how to redeem some free food at Taco Bell on Monday:
Created by Deutsch LA, an ad agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles, the commercial aired during the Super Bowl, the chain's first Super Bowl spot since 2010. Another 60-second spot is slated to air post-game, dubbed "Grande Papi," and set to The Notorious B.I.G.'s 1994 hit, "Big Poppa."
Both commercials are aimed at promoting the launch of Taco Bell's Cantina Bell Steak Burrito, part of the new chef-inspired Cantina Bell menu created by Latin American chef and Taco Bell menu consultant Lorena Garcia. Garcia, currently a judge for NBC's America's Next Great Restaurant, is known for herflagship "traveler's" restaurant, Concina Lorena Garcia, which opened in the Miami International Airport in July 2011. Her recipes, which use special seasonings and "fresh" ingredients, are now available at all Taco Bell locations nationwide.
The commercials also promote the chance to celebrate "Live Más Monday." All you need to do is head over to the Taco Bell Facebook page and look for the "redeem offer" post to receive an email for a post-game giveaway of a free churro with any purchase on Monday, Feb. 4.
And just remember: you should always live más -- no matter how old you are.
