Steak 'n Shake Offers Seven Patty Burger as Part of Their Late-Night Menu

The Steak 'n Shake 7x7 Burger: There's a new gut bomb in town.

If you've ever driven around in your car at two in the morning wondering where you could find a mega gut-bomb, then read on because we've found a doozie of a burger.

Steak 'n Shake has introduced the 7 x 7 Steakburger, and it's exactly what you think it is -- seven meat patties (and seven slices of cheese) all in one bun (because seven buns would be overkill, don't you think?).

This burger contains one full pound of meat and, according to Steak 'n Shake's nutritional statement, 1,330 calories; 98 grams fat, 45 grams saturated fat, and 4,490 milligrams sodium.

That, by the way, is three times more sodium than you should consume daily, according to the CDC website.

The 7x7 Steakburger costs $7.77 and is only available from midnight - 6:00 a.m. (when most bad decisions happen).

It takes a village -- to eat this thing.

Another of our favorite offerings on the Late Night menu is the Steakburger Slinger, a skillet filled with hash browns, chili, two steakburgers, shredded cheese, and two eggs ($5.99). The "skillet" comes in at 1,130 calories and packs 83 grams fat and 2,280 milligrams sodium -- making this practically diet food, right?

We called the Sunrise location, near Sawgrass Mills, asking about the new menu. The person on the other end of the line confirmed that these items are, in fact, real and in demand.
