To mark the occasion, the store will host a birthday party of sorts today (Saturday) from 9 to 11 a.m. ESPN Radio will be on the scene and offering prize giveaways for the duration of the event.
Brooklyn Water Bagels, for the uninitiated, trumpets a proprietary water system it says replicates the flavor and quality of Brooklyn water. Some New Yorkers (who of course believe no one else in the world knows how to make a bagel) claim it's the water that imbues the bagels from the region with that certain je ne sais quoi.
