BBQ Pitmaster Myron Mixon Heads To Winn-Dixie

Myron Mixon is coming to Winn-Dixie.
He's won more competitive barbeque titles than anyone in the history of grilling meat on fire for prizes and he's the star judge of Destination America's BBQ Pitmasters. He's also the chef/owner of Pride and Joy Barbeque in Miami, and the best-selling author of Smokin' with Myron Mixon.

Basically, we're saying that Myron Mixon is a big deal in the barbeque world. And now, you can "meat" the man in person when Mixon comes to Winn-Dixie in Plantation for a special meet-and-greet.

The celebrity chef will be making an appearance at Winn-Dixie (901 N. Nob Hill Road, Plantation) on Friday, February 22, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Sample some smoky barbeque chicken legs, chat with the BBQ Pitmaster star, and take a few pictures.

The first 50 people on line will receive a free copy of Mixon's book and there will be additional prizes like Winn-Dixie gift cards and tickets to the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.
