BaconFest Announces Restaurant Lineup

BaconFest: Eat like there's no tomorrow.
Bacon Fest, the all-things-porky event that's coming to the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Saturday, February 23, has announced its restaurant and food lineup -- and it's nothing short of spectacular.

For one evening and one evening only, forget your sodium and cholesterol intake and go crazy on nature's pig candy. Bacon!

Nearly two dozen of south Florida's best restaurants have taken the challenge of creating a scrumptious dish using bacon to heart, which means you'll feast on everything from bacon sliders and bacon wrapped shrimp to bacon cupcakes and bacon cake pops. 

BaconFest, which runs from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., also features a chef competition, interactive bacon-themed games, a "hog" bike show, and a live concert with the Dan Band and (of course) the Bacon Brothers.

General admission tickets are $25 and available through Ticketmaster.

  • Bacon Bites - Chocolate peanut butter dipped bacon 
  • Big City Tavern - Bacon wrapped porchetta with bacon crusted cider donuts with maple glaze
  • Bru's Room Sports Grill - Bru's triple colossal bacon threat wings
  • Caffe Luna Rosa - Bacon maple buttered popcorn topped with jalapeno bacon salt and jalapeno bacon salted Bloody Mary
  • Gimme a Burger - Bacon burger
  • Grind Espresso - Swedish bacon gingersnaps & iced latte garnished with chocolate bacon
  • Hibiscus CafĂ© - Petite quiche lorraine
  • Jodi's Cupcakes - Mini bacon maple cupcakes
  • Kapow! Noodle Bar - Bacon and jalapeno rangoon with chimichurri sauce and shot of strawberry lemonade with bacon salt
  • La Marquise Desserts -  Peanut butter, chocolate and bacon mousse
  • Lime Fresh Mexican Grille - Bacon, bean and cheese quesadillas
  • Melting Pot - Bacon and chocolate fondue with bacon milkshake
  • Ms. Cheezious - Grilled bacon and blue cheese sandwich
  • Over the Top Culinary Affairs - Treat to be announced
  • Red Rock Oasis -  Bacon wrapped fried shrimp with cream cheese and jalapeno
  • Rock n' Roll Ribs-  Chili topped with bacon and sour cream
  • Shooters - Bacon Rueben crisp
  • Smokey Bones -  Bacon 'infused' cheddar pretzel slider with basil mayo
  • Susy Pops -. Bacon cake pops
  • Sybarite Pig - Piggy pin wheels (Venezuelan bacon roll with ham and capers)
  • The Gypsy Horse -  Flavored bacon twists
