Ms. Cheezious was a big winner at last year's Burgie Awards.

The hottest ticket of the week may be Sunday's showdown between the 49ers and the Ravens, but the battle Clean Plate Charlie is most interested in has nothing to do with the Super Bowl. The Fourth Annual Burger Beast Burgie Awards are planned for Saturday night and the competition is fierce. As an extra score, the awards and accompanying festival will be hosted for the first time in Broward County, instead of the usual Miami playing grounds.

What else is on the schedule -- besides about a million Super Bowl parties -- in Broward and Palm Beach counties this weekend? Find a roundup of food- and drink-related happenings, after the jump.
