Burgie Awards Coming to Fort Lauderdale

The Burgies have moved north.
The fourth Annual Burger Beast Burgie Awards has moved north to Fort Lauderdale, bringing with it a meaty good time for all.

The combination burger celebration/food truck roundup/awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 2 from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale.

The event features 25 different food trucks and restaurants from south Florida and Tampa serving up (you guessed it) burgers, though we suspect other foods like tacos and cupcakes will get thrown into the mix.  In addition, craft beers will be available for purchase.

The event is free and food and drinks are pay-as-you-go. In addition to food, the fourth annual Burger Awards will be announced at the event by founder and popular blogger Burger Beast.

lol really?

Wow..alot of oversights. There's soo many other better and more popular food trucks n food out there..

example: LATIN BURGER and Taco (not the fake Latin house).

But when politics come into the food truck world those who bow down will receive some kind of recognition.  this is what's called favortism not by the "people" but by those who run these events.

When clearly all of miami/broward n so forth know what food trucks and restaurants do actually deserve recognition.

the omission of Nacho Bizness is a serious oversight!
