Free Taco Bell for Stolen Bases During World Series: The Promo (and Series) Start Today

When the Tigers blew the Yankees out of the running for the 2012 MLB World Series, lots of South Florida baseball fans probably checked out of the event altogether. But even if you're not rooting for the Tigers or the San Francisco Giants, Taco Bell has devised a reason to keep people invested in the series. (Oh, and as an aside: Go Detroit!)

During the World Series, Taco Bell will give out a free Doritos Locos Taco to any customer if a player steals a base during the series. Seeing as the World Series begins at 8:07 tonight on Fox, Taco Bell's "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promo kicks off today as well.
But don't just go running for the border at the first sign of someone making a sneaky break for second base. Special redemption times are in place to keep things from turning into a hot mess, and there's a limit of one freebie per customer.
If the first stolen base occurs during Game One through Four, get your hands on a free Locos Taco on Tuesday, October 30, between 2 and 6 p.m. If it happens in Game Five through Seven, the free mass munchiefest is from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, November 5. The offer is good at all participating Taco Bell stores.
