Yes. Costco. The would-be first lady shops with the 47 percenters for frozen foods, produce in bulk, and raspberries (which serve as a healthy snack for the ride home). After all, Romney explains, she has ax extended family of 30 to feed and Costco offers cheap, healthy food for her gigantic brood.

In a taped segment, Ann Romney takes us shopping and shares her tips for a successful Costco experience. First, grab a cart and head to the back of the store, working your way to the checkout. Work the perimeter of the aisles, where the fresh produce can be found. And always pick up your rotisserie chicken last so you don't heat everything else in your cart.

Romney showed Rachael Ray her Costco receipt, totaling $137.50. "That's $4.50 per person," Ray exclaims.

Ann Romney's really got it bad for this Costco character. In an interview on Fox, she again brings up the store. Ever wonder where Mitt gets those snazzy plaid shirts to go with his "mom" jeans? Costco:

We certainly are cross today.  So cross that we do not even understand who is on our side.  To explain further,  Mrs. Romney is trying to prove that we do not  need much to be able to eat (as if we do not needmore  than food).  Do you really think she needs to shop at Cosco?  Again, she is just trying to prove a point. She is not sympathising with us at all.

Five dollars per person.  Does anyone understand what this is saying? That proves that the poorer folk are just whiners.  They should be able to manage on what they get.  Their financial needs therefore is not a priority.

Come on people do we really care where these people shop??  I care more about how they handle their  money and my money.  Obama couldn't manage a hotdog stand let alone the country.  He is too inexperienced maybe his wife should have for president since she seems to be the one wearing the pants in that family.

Its pathetic how the population is swayed by the media.  Americans do not know how to vote anymore.  You need to vote for a business person that knows how to handle a business and run the country that way because that is what  it is.  Remember the President of the Unitied States is employed by the people and he works for the people.  How can anyone make a decision when you read the BS put out by the media.  Do i care if they wear "mommy jeans", or shop at Walmart?  Do I care what church they go to that shouldn';t be a deciding factor.  Please people think of what you want from your government and make a good decision in November.

Early in his term as Governor of MA, I ran into Mitt and Ann Romney shopping at a local grocery store where people of ALL socio economic levels shop.  There was no media it was NOT a PR campaign.  It was a husband and wife making their weekend trip to the store.  These are real people with huge hearts who have been unfairly subjected to negative propaganda created by companies owned and/or controlled by people who are much wealthier and continue to make money from Americans "tuning" in.  If anyone understands how an economy works and how jobs are created, he does.  He wants get you your job back.  He wants to fix our economy.  He's not a career politician and doesn't need to play that game.  Please have faith and give him a chance.

Judging by Mitts flashy style it sure looks like Costco stuff. It would not surprise me if she has done the Costco thing. Feeding 5 boys requires bulk and the warehouse places just make sense. And they were not always rich. Many millionaires are shopping right along side of you peons, thats why they're millionaires. Warren Buffet drives an old Buick and lives in a house he paid about $30,000 for  many years ago. T Boone Pickens said he only has about 5 suits  because "how many can you wear at one time".  If you hate Romney just because of the opinion that all rich people are bad is formed in your mind that's your choice.  Then you also have to hate Obama as well as he is also rich and has not helped nearly the people Romney has, certianly has not donated to charity like Romney, consoled people ect.. Romney got rich working under the rules that were in place. I don't like jobs leaving or companies closing any more than the next guy but business people follow the path set out by regul;ations and tax law. I'm hopeful that a businessman who knows the the cause and effect of tax law and regulation on job flight can fix it, The past 4 years have indicated that Obama does not know how.

Michelle USED to shop at Cosco, but no more. Her and her friends can now fly out (US 1) to whatever country free of charge and buy what they want tax free. Life is good for the Obamas.

What a load of ****! The wife of a man who ends the jobs of thousands of Americans while making millions of dollars, the woman that wears $600+ blouses is not likely to be a regular Costco customer.  This is a publicity stunt that is so clearly fraudulent.  Ray should be ashamed.  No wonder I NEVER watch her show.

The "poor people" as you call us, don't have $5.00/person for a meal. And we certainly don't have $130.00 do drop on one meal. Grow a brain. Use your head for something more than a hat rack!

@cnco1 Obama has always worked for the people!  This is how Romney/Bain Capital=private equity firm, has worked for the people ~

Bloomberg BusinessWeek has called private equity a rebranding of leveraged buyout firms after the 1980s. Among the most common investment strategies in private equity are:leveraged buyouts, venture capital, growth capital, distressed investments and mezzanine capital. In a typical leveraged buyout transaction, a private equity firm buys majority control of an existing or mature firm. This is distinct from a venture capital or growth capital investment, in which the investors (typically venture capital firms or angel investors) invest in young or emerging companies, and rarely obtain majority control.

If I have the faith of Romney, I am going to get my own planet over which I get to be god. I wonder how many virgins Romney is expecting when he becomes god of his planet and how Ann feels about sharing her husband with all those other women???

@costcofan Aww, poor baby ~ No!  I have no faith in people that do & say what other people are telling them to do and say.  If you listen to just the 3 debates you can see how his colors changed.  Why, because he/they learned that the majority of Americans are not into walking tuff and using that big stick!

He wants to get you your job back!?!  He's going to produce 12 million new jobs immediately?  What's he going to do, bring his companies back from China?  He wants to fix our economy?  By keeping the big tax cut for his backers, so they can buy another mansion, instead of paying decent wages to their employee's?

He says he made his money the "American way"!?!?  By buying & and selling off businesses, if not taking them down, for profit!  You can have his "American way"!

She shops at Target; and when she does, she does not make it a campaign issue.  She goes incognito, in baseball cap and dark glasses.  She also does not have to shop there but it seems to be her preference as she does not invite the media to see when  she does it.

..and Michelle shopping at the 'Gap"  and then wearing designer dresses to public events isn't a publicity stunt? ...If anyone has a financial agenda to become/stay president it is O'Bama who now makes 340K plus as a yearly salary not counting the book deals etc..way more than he ever earned as a senator or professor-his past jobs..Romney clearly has no such incentive..maybe that's why O'Bama broke his promises to be a one term president if he didn't get unemployment under 6%, (or was it under 8%) doesn'tmatter, we aren't even close and he didn't keep either promise..or the promise to leave after one term if he didn't reduce (laughter inserted here) the national debt? Yes,i'd say the O'Bama's way of life has greatly improved-unlike the 23M americans who are now unemployed...

I have a freind worth millions and she shops at Costco more than I do.  Maybe that's why she is in the top 10% and I'm one of the 47%.  I don't think RR cares if you watch her show or not and if check the history on jobs leaving this country, you will find that jobs went to Mexico back in the 70's.  Romney was just a young man at that time so that concept of sending our jobs overseas was not "invented" by Romney.  People like you make it easy for this Independent to make up her mind!!!

Talk about hypocrites; you rank up there with the best of them.  I know lots of wealthy people who shop at Costco.  Romney did not get you laid off; research the number of jobs Obama sent to China and how the housing bubble started.  The campaign buses were made in Canada.   People who buy into the media presentation and don't do their own research floor me.

@juggernaut You do realize that Romney is not a Billionaire right?  Not even close.   Also, you do realize you post on a website owned by a very large company ran by rich people, on a computer or smartphone ran by a very large company ran by rich people, in a home or apartment that was built by a rich person or company with possibly a car or bike you have parked outside made my rich people, while you are wearing clothes made by a company ran by rich people while you sip your energy drink no doubt...again made by rich people.   Be mindful of what you say as you reap the rewards of those "rich" people that took the initiative to make good choices, get an education, bust there ass and make something for themselves.   Government makes NOTHING, they generate NO revenue other then taxes they take from all of us.  Without those "rich" people to create jobs for the rest of us the Government would not exist.     Its unfortunate that you got laid off your job and have to work two jobs to try and make ends meat.  Don't assume anyone that doesn't have to struggle owes you anything.  Before you deface the person because of his religious beliefs why don't you look at his success in business vs. the alternative and figure out which one you believe is going to be better at making decisions to encourage businesses to hire more people and boost the economy.  redistribution of wealth is NOT stimulating the economy.   And in case you are wondering, no I am not religious, not a millionaire or billionaire and not a tea party conservative.  I'm a realist!!

I love how often comments like this show up on these boards. "I'm so poor I don't have $5 for a meal." And yet somehow you have a PC or other device and internet service to make your commentary. There's no way I believe that you and similar complainers head down to the public library or borrow a friend's service to comment on candidates at Costco stories...

But we have never before envied the Presidents their way of life so, ...?  This is the first President that I have seen so much criticism of any vacation he might take, if he takes his wife out to dinner or who designs her clothes.  I have always seen the people of this country show pride and respect to the past Presidents and first ladies so what's different now?  This one, like the others, was voted in by the majority.  I do not expect the President of this great country to live like I do. I am always happy when my boss gets a new car or lovely house because if he cannot achieve, God bless what I will have.  I do not envy Mrs, Romney being  able to shop at the better stores; she is rich and has all right to do so. I am just embarassed with her condescending attempts to show us less fortunate people that what we have is enough.  That's all this Costco shopping spree with cameras in tow is saying.

@myownthinker Think about this!  Obama will continue to get paid, even if he doesn't win.  And, he will continue to work for the people, like he always has.

The vehicle was commissioned by the Secret Service, which has always hired buses for election campaigns and retrofitted them to provide suitable protection for presidents and rival party nominees.

But the Service decided to commission its own vehicles, reasoning that the initial total outlay of $US2.2 million for two buses would soon pay for itself over a projected 10-year lifespan.

"We have demonstrated the need for these buses going back to 1980," said Ed Donovan, a Secret Service spokesman, recalling the days when future president Ronald Reagan stormed the country by bus.

Each of the new buses will be available to Mr Obama and the eventual Republican presidential nominee if required through the duration of the 2012 election season.

Thank you, I researched, now what?

@jlevi2001  @juggernaut Maybe if those hard working , well educated rich people would pay their employee's a decent wage instead taking a few million as a bonus, I'd feel for them.  I don't assume anyone owes me for working my ass off, but my boss.  And, 5 of us just got a $2.00 an hour raise and everyone else got $1.00 raise, because he knows it pays to take care of your employee's.  Now that's, stimulating! Unlike the many business owners that give a .25 raise and you should be happy with that, while they take home millions!  Get real, realist!!

Oh, and I found this little tidbit about Romney's bus

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Republican nominee Mitt Romney's guerrilla tactics continued Thursday, as the campaign bus circled the venue where President Barack Obama will be speaking this afternoon.

As it passed the assembled throngs of supporters awaiting entry to the event at Cuyahoga Community College, the bus honked its horn dozens of times, before circling around to do it again. Obama supporters jeered and booed each time the bus passed the line outside of the security screening area.

The Romney campaign has routinely deployed aides to infiltrate events featuring Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, who wait online like regular supporters, but once inside spin the media live.

were you 'enraged' and 'insulted' by all the stories of Michelle shopping at the Gap??   ..only to see her in designer dresses at state dinners and such????????????? Or do you have the 'inside' track on what these women 'really' do...TheO'Bama family has financially benefitted (340K++ salary, books, etc) by the presidency-the Romneys have and will not...as if any of this mattered as to who is more qualified...
