American Beer Day? Now that's a holiday worthy of a celebration.

It's about that time once again to fulfill your patriotic duty; and we're not talking about voting (though with early voting starting today, that certainly can be part of it). Dress in your finest red, white, and blue regalia and head down to your local pub or specialty store and celebrate American Beer Day in style.

The annual food holiday of sorts is an excellent occasion to delve into the craft beer scene that is making significant waves in South Florida. Among the many places where you can mark the event is The Office in Delray Beach.

The Office is offering half off its entire selection of more than 20 American beers. The deal is good for the entire day. Among the choices are popular brews like Dogfish Head's 60 Minute and 90 Minute IPAs, Southern Tier 2x IPA, Stone Pale Ale, Abita Purple Haze, Magic Hat #9, and Left Hand's Milk Stout. If you want to support a Florida brewer, try Swamp Ape IPA (a particularly potent beverage, so ape responsibly), Cigar City Jai Alai IPA, Monk in the Trunk, or Holy Mackerel.
