Gulfstream Park Holds Fourth of July Celebration and Food Drive
|Bring some food items to Gulfstream Park and celebrate the day in a charitable way.|
What better way to pay tribute to our country than by giving back a little?
That's why we love the fact that, along with one heck of a great party, Gulfstream Park is holding a July 4th food drive benefiting Feeding South Florida, a not-for-profit organization that provides food and other grocery items to the community to fight hunger and poverty through a local network of nearly 600 other not-for-profit organizations.
Head over to Gulfstream Park today, starting at 4 p.m. for their July 4th Family Celebration featuring a KidzZone, live music, food, fun, and more. Stay for the fireworks, which start at 9 p.m.
While you're there, bring some non-perishable foods to donate like peanut better, cereal, tuna, rice, canned goods, etc. Donations will at the north and south valet areas. Not only are you doing something very good for members of our community in need, but each person donating food will be entered into a drawing to win $500. The drawing will take place directly after the fireworks.
Helping neighbors while enjoying the day with friends and family. Sounds like a fantastic way to celebrate our nation's birthday.
