|Only a few days left until Saturday's barbecue throwdown!|
The charcoal is heating up in preparation for our second annual Rock N'Roll Beer-B-Que this weekend at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood. This Saturday, June 30, over a dozen restaurants will compete for titles in categories from best pork to best overall.
This year, many of the restaurants are keeping it simple-- no gimmicks, just straight-up, low-n-slow barbecue. Whiskey Tango won the Best Pork prize at last year's Beer-B-Que for their pulled pork stuffed corn dog. This year, the bar is keeping their menu under wraps in hopes of sweeping all five categories--best chicken, pork, brisket, most unique and best overall. A few other restaurants are also keeping tight-lipped about what they're dishing out for this year's meaty throwdown.
Last year, East Coast BBQ's smoky delights secured their win in the Best Overall category. Which dish will earn one lucky restaurant the coveted Best Overall title this year? Check out some of this weekend's contenders.
