SA1A Offers Poolside Miami Heat Watch Party With White Hot Sangria

Fort Lauderdale Miami Heat fans have a supercool way to watch the team take on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at 9.

SA1A and the B Ocean Fort Lauderdale Hotel are having a white-hot watch party at both the poolside bar and in the lobby. Enjoy some sushi, like SA1A's crunchy tuna roll ($16), salmon tempura roll ($16), or a veggie roll ($12), before or during the game.

Cocktails are fruity and potent. We like the SA1ARita ($10) or the Scorpion Bowl for two ($24). Plus, SA1A is offering a potent and spicy White Hot Sangria special during the game. Enjoy this special blend of vodka, lychee, pinot grigio, and grapes (with a little wasabi for heat) by the glass ($5) or pitcher ($28).

If you're having a watch party in your man cave, the mixologists at SA1A are giving you some at-home love. In the name of team spirit, here's the recipe so you can make a pitcher (or two) of the sangria at home:
White Hot Sangria

12oz Skyy vodka
1/2 bottle Pinot Grigio
½ cup muddled, ½ cup whole white grapes
2 cans of lychees with Juices
2 sliced oranges
½ honeydew melon
¼ cup wasabi

Add ingredients in pitcher, stir, add ice, and serve. Go Heat!
